Mr. Wallace serves as Chairman and is one of the founding members of Cayden Resources. Throughout his career, he has been involved in all aspects of the mining industry, from mineral exploration and project management, to financing, mergers & acquisitions and corporate development. Over the last 23 years, Mr. Wallace has been instrumental in building numerous high-quality mineral exploration, development and production stage companies. Mr. Wallace also serves as the Chairman and a Director of Keegan Resources, Stratton Resources and Georgetown Capital Corp.
Mr. Bebek has spent over 12 years financing premier resource companies and has been instrumental in the raising of considerable risk capital for the exploration companies he has been involved in. Mr. Bebek is co-founder, President/CEO and a Director of Cayden Resources where he oversees all corporate and financial activities. Ivan has extensive experience in financing, foreign negotiations and acquisitions. His ability to finance, structure and position strategic partners has resulted in the development of a significant international financial network which will continue to be valuable in his role with Cayden. Mr. Bebek is also a co-founder of Keegan Resources and is a senior member of Keegan’s management team where he is involved in all aspects of the company.
Dr. McCoy obtained his doctorate at the University of Alaska and has worked extensively in the exploration sector for over 27 years, specializing in precious metals exploration. He has a wealth of experience in North America, South America and in Africa. He has explored for the most prominent types of gold deposits, including Carlin-type, intrusion-related, epithermal and Pre-Cambrian greenstone belt systems. Dr. McCoy was previously employed at Placer Dome as manager for US generative exploration and was most recently President and CEO of Keegan Resources where he led the exploration team that discovered and delineated the Esaase Gold deposit in Ghana, West Africa.
Mr. Starr was the Head of Capital Markets for a boutique Canadian investment bank and has been active in the financial services industry for over 13 years. Mr. Starr has worked for global investment banks and independent boutique investment dealers during his career working both as an equity salesperson/trader as well as in corporate finance. He holds a MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and a Master of Economics from the University of Victoria.
David M. Jones is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the University of Arizona (M.S. 1987) with over 30 years experience in mineral exploration and project management. As Chief Geologist and Manager of Teck's Nukay Project from 1994-1999, Mr. Jones is credited with the discovery of the Los Filos gold-skarn deposit, which became Mexico's largest gold producer (Goldcorp Inc.) in 2010.Mr. Jones has published numerous technical articles and is considered to be the foremost expert on Guerrero Gold Belt type deposits. He has worked extensively throughout the Guerrero Gold Belt for clients including Wheaton River, Peñoles, Grupo Mexico, Torex and a number of Canadian juniors.
Mr. Maxwell is currently the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Beacon Securities Inc. and has been active in the financial services industry for over 20 years. Mr. Maxwell is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Clarus Securities Inc., Head of Sales and Trading at Loewen Ondaatie McCutcheon Ltd. and a Financial Analyst at the Royal Bank of Canada. Mr. Maxwell holds a Masters in Business Administration degree from the Rotman School of Management and a Bachelors of Arts (Economics) degree from Queen's University.
Mr. Cook is a practicing tax partner at the prestigious tax law firm, Thorsteinssons LLP based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Mr. Cook received his B.Comm. and LL.B. degrees from the University of British Columbia and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1982 and the Ontario Bar in 1992. Mr. Cook is a specialist in corporate and international tax planning, offshore structures, representation, and civil and criminal tax litigation. Mr. Cook has served on the Board of Directors of Brett Resources Ltd. (“Brett”) prior to it being acquired by Osisko Mining Corp. and has also served as Chair of the Special Committee of the Brett Board of Directors during the Osisko/Brett negotiations. Mr. Cook currently serves on the board of directors of Skeena Resources Ltd.
